Ever since my (epic) discovery of Apple Music, I’ve found myelf up until 4 AM reconstructing and rearranging my iTunes library on more occasion than one. Like maybe one…ce a week. While completely useless to my (lack of) sleep schedule, I’ve been bumping to my music 24/7.
I hook up my cute little bluetooth speaker + jam to anything from classic country to 2000’s hits to Fetty Wap + pretty much everything in between.
Here’s what I’ve had on repeat this month:
DAN + SHAY’S “OBSESSED” ALBUM. I’m not usually someone to download a whole album but THIS BAD BOY is some straight fire, as my sister, who is also hooked on this album thanks to me, would say. No more words needed. You’ll totally be #obsessed with “Obsessed”.
ADELE’S “SEND MY LOVE (TO YOUR NEW LOVER)”. I had no clue this was Adele when I first heard it, but DAMN, how about that comeback after the unfortunate infamy of “Hello”?! (I mean, come on, who can listen to that song now + not cringe after hearing it every other song on every single radio station for a straight month.)
NEIL DIAMOND’S “SWEET CAROLINE”. To this one, I owe the credit to my BF. I’ll never forget one of the first dates we ever went on + his lack of fear to literally start belting the words out to this one. And by no means was it normal singing. And by no means was it just me who could here. We were top-down in a Mustang on a busy side street in a touristy town in Connecticut. I think the families walking down the sidewalk next to us could see the vein popping out of his neck, too. So I threw this song in the mix 🙂
“CLOSE” BY NICK JONAS FT. TOVE LO. To put it into the only words I can think of, this is the perfect “windows-down, sunny day, singing at the top of your lungs” car song. And if I try to convince you that I don’t jam out to this song everytime I get in my car, I’m totally lying.
BRYSON TILLER’S “T R A P S O U L” ALBUM. For a Blake Shelton lovin’ girl, this album grew on me way too quickly. I was even planning to go to a rap concert… that’s how you know this one’s legit.
